I'm Swatching You: Maybelline MNY Shimmery purple

This was on sale for only £2 in Asda so I grabbed the colour I liked best. 'Shimmery Purple' is a sort of fuschia-pink tinted purple with a purple shimmer. The formula was really great, this is two coats which went on easily (the bad clean-up is my fault haha)

Then because I am never satisfied with anything I used Rimmel 239 Your Majesty to make leopard nails with my Bundle Monster stamp. I thought it was really pretty :)

Frst attempt at gradient nails!

Success? Dubious.

I basically was attempting to avoid doing any real revision for my exams tomorrow and so turned to the joyous experience of painting my nails.

I found this really messy to do but it was still quite fun. Unfortunately the sponges I were using were quite cheap so little bits kept coming off on my nail! Also apologies for the bad quality of the picture and the annoying filter. My digital camera refused to pick up the colours at all and it's better seen with a filter.

Rimmel Green With Envy avec a rhinestone chevron

Sadly, my awesome Hobbit nailart began to peel off this afternoon which incidentally coincided with me discovering a stash of nail polishes that I'd forgotten I even had! Score ;) Among them was a wonderful teal-y shade 'Green with Envy' from the 60 seconds collection.

It's a wonderful glittery metallic teal and depending on the lighting can lean far more towards green, and othertimes look far more blue.

I finished off the look with a little chevron of green rhinestones on both index fingers. Weirdly though they must reflect off the polish because in most lights they look teal on the nail.
